Controlled cooling is the rapid cooling of DH36 steel plate after controlled rolling, controlling its phase transformation and carbide precipitation, reducing carbon equivalent, improving welding performance, and eliminating heat treatment processes such as quenching or tempering, which greatly reduces production costs of DH36 steel plate.
One of the characteristics of the new controlled cooling device for DH36 steel plate is the combination of weak cooling and strong cooling nozzles. The weak cooling rate is 5-15 C/s and the strong cooling rate is 8-36 C/s. The cooling speed can be adjusted in a wide range and has an independent model. The upper and lower water volume and water ratio can be adjusted to achieve uniform cooling by accurately controlling the cooling rate.
