After heat treatment, the mechanical properties of ASTM A131 EH36 ship plate, such as tensile strength, yield strength, hardness and elongation, have been greatly improved, which meets the comprehensive mechanical properties requirements of ASTM A131 EH36 ship plate.
The optimum heat treatment process is quenching at 910 C and tempering at 500 C. After heat treatment, the structure of ASTM A131 EH36 ship plate is uniformly refined and its comprehensive mechanical properties are good.
