According to the statistics of the US Department of Commerce, in February this year, the US imported about 1.71 million tons of steel products, a year-on-year decrease of 22% and a year-on-year increase of 24.7%.
Imports were about $1.62 billion, up from $1.65 billion last month and $1.3 billion last February.
Among them, the United States imported about 468000 tons of steel from Canada, 229000 tons from Mexico, 217000 tons from Brazil and 209000 tons from South Korea.
The import volume of semi-finished steel products is about 410000 tons, flat steel 730000 tons, long steel 295000 tons and steel pipe 224000 tons.
