The surface of S460G2+QT plate must be 100% inspected by naked eyes. Unless otherwise specified in the clause, the surface conditions shall comply with EN10163-2, Class A, Subclass 3. The provided S460G2+QT plate should be suitable for inspection, so its surface can be easily inspected. The repair of defects such as cracks, surface peeling or welds (according to EN10163-2) should be followed by magnetic particle inspection or staining inspection.
The internal quality of the steel plate: S460G2+QT plate must be reliable and free of internal defects that may hinder its application purpose.
