In 2020, China's steel exports will continue to decrease. According to customs statistics, from January to November 2020, China has exported 48.826 million tons of steel, a year-on-year decrease of 18.1%. It is estimated that the annual steel export volume will be about 53 million tons, with a decrease rate of more than 15%. The decline of China's steel exports is mainly due to the shrinking world economy, serious trade protectionism and upside down steel prices at home and abroad.
Looking forward to the situation of China's steel export in the new year, both quantity and price will rise. Among them, the export volume of steel decreased to an increase of more than 60 million tons, with an increase of more than 10%; meanwhile, the export price of steel products will also rise significantly in the same period.
