12MnNiCrMoV is a low alloy high strength steel for hull. It can be rolled steel plate, sheet, flat steel. As a hull steel, it shall be able to adapt to the operation of this process, that is, the steel will not crack after initiating fire, and the performance of initiating fire joint shall be basically as strong as that of base material.
12MnNiCrMoV steel is a marine low-alloy high-strength steel with Nb and Ti microalloying treatment with yield strength of 440MPa. Its thin plate is produced by hot continuous rolling + high temperature tempering process. The main microalloyed elements include V, Ti, Nb, B and rare earth elements.
Because of low carbon content, high cleanliness and fine grain, 12MnNiCrMoV marine steel has high strength and toughness and low crack sensitivity.
