The reason of AH36 steel plate delamination is closely related to metallurgy and rolling process. The key links should be strictly controlled, and the process parameters should be adjusted in time to ensure product quality. It is suggested that the following measures should be taken to reduce the incidence of tensile delamination of AH36 steel plate.
(1) In steelmaking process, attention should be paid to reducing the content of H as much as possible and controlling the content of Mn in it to a lower limit. After rolling, stacking is used to promote diffusion to reduce H in AH36 steel plate.
(2) In the reheating process, the soaking time of the soaking section is more than 35 minutes, and the soaking temperature of the reheating furnace is increased. As far as possible, the strip structure and the segregation of Nb and Ti compounds in AH36 steel plate can be reduced, thus the delamination of tensile fracture surface of AH36 steel plate can be reduced.
(3) When the process conditions permit, the reduction during rolling should be increased.
