According to data from the National Bureau of Statistics, in August 2020, the average daily DNV GL EH32 plate and so on steel output of industrial enterprises above designated size in China reached 3.84 million tons, an increase from the average daily output in July.
In August 2020, the national crude steel output was 94.85 million tons (regulated value, the same below), an increase of 8.4% year-on-year; a month-on-month increase of 1.49 million tons, an increase of 1.6%. According to this calculation, the average daily output of crude steel in August was 3.0597 million tons, an increase of 48,100 tons/day or 1.6% from the average daily output in July.
In August, the national pig iron output was 78.55 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 5%; the month-on-month increase was 370,000 tons, an increase of 0.47%. According to this calculation, the average daily output of pig iron in August was 2.5339 million tons, an increase of 11,900 tons per day compared with the average daily output in July, an increase of 0.47%.
In August, the national DNV GL EH32 plate and so on steel output was 119.13 million tons, an increase of 11.3% year-on-year; the month-on-month increase was 2.24 million tons, an increase of 1.92%. According to this calculation, the average daily output of DNV GL EH32 plate and so on steel in August was 3,842,900 tons, an increase of 72,300 tons/day or 1.92% from the average daily output in July.
From January to August, the output of crude steel was 688.89 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 3.7%; the output of pig iron was 589.4 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 3.4%; the output of DNV GL EH32 plate and so on steel was 844.69 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 4.8%.
