Grade S460N material is available in wide and flat types. The semi-finished products means that further processing to flat and long products of hot rolled non-alloy quality steels in the grades and qualities given in chemical composition tables and mechanical properties tables in the delivery conditions. S460N structural steel plates are delivered in normalized, or normalized rolled conditions.
Grade S460N plate material is weldable structural steel manufactured with a fine grain structure and supplied in the normalized condition or normalized rolled condition. There are four grades(S275, S355, S420 and S460) which indicate each grade’s minimum yield strength (in MPa) for plates 16mm thick and below. S460N plate offers high yield and tensile strength with a minimum yield strength of 460MPa.
